Conclusion: the ida driver's PCI probe table (sys/dev/raid/ida/ida_pci.c:146-170,
subdevice ids 0x40300E11..0x40580E11) cannot match on this guest; the
idad_attach/idad_detach/idad_strategy code under audit is present in the
kernel but unreachable at runtime without a physical Compaq SMART/IDA
controller. Verification of DF-5046 on this guest is therefore untested
(hardware absent), not false-positive: the code trace in VERDICT.md stands
on its own.
