NOTE: unlike the stock audit guest (virtio-blk root, no ahci), this run
attaches a live AHCI controller + disk + ATAPI CD so the production ahci_cam.c
paths execute against real hardware. The controller/disk are added at QEMU
launch (QEMU's AHCI bus does not support drive hotplug; a runtime device_add
of ide-hd fails with "Bus 'ahcibrd.0' does not support hotplugging").
Guest kernel: stock #0 Jul 2 2026 X86_64_GENERIC (kernel symtab present in
/boot/kernel/kernel, no KASLR: link-time symbol addresses are runtime
addresses).
