# DF-2404 VERDICT

**Status:** reproduced
**Impact:** none
**Confidence:** certain

Quantified kernel-heap leak of the sc_rng_co callout array: 20000 production rdrand_attach/rdrand_detach cycles grew M_TEMP from Count=474/337K to Count=20000/3.08M (vmstat -m), exactly one ncpus-sized callout-array allocation leaked per cycle because rdrand_detach never kfree()s sc->sc_rng_co (rdrand.c:143-155).

## Notes
Impact ceiling: resource exhaustion (kernel heap) on repeated driver reattach; detach is only reachable via module unload/devclass teardown, so severity Low is right.

## Fix status (batch validation)
Applied with the 36 sibling fix.diffs of this batch in findings/poc/_batch41/all_fixes.patch; single in-guest `make -j6 nativekernel KERNCONF=X86_64_GENERIC` completed RC=0 with zero errors under -Werror (full log: findings/poc/_batch41/fix_build8.log). Behavior A/B intentionally skipped for this Info-tier item.
