Date: 2026-07-26 (pass-1; re-confirmed 2026-10-12 for this verify run)
Kernel: DragonFly 6.5-DEVELOPMENT #0 (X86_64_GENERIC, INVARIANTS ON)

--- /dev/dri (after kldload drm) ---
NOT PRESENT - no /dev/dri/card0 or /dev/dri/renderD128

--- kldstat after kldload drm ---
drm.ko loaded (production binary, symbols dma_buf_export/dma_buf_fd/
dma_buf_get/dmabuf_fileops exported) but NO device nodes created (dummy
VGA 0x1234 is claimed by no DRM driver: no i915/amdgpu/radeon attach)

--- Conclusion (DF-2132) ---
The DRM ioctl front door (DRM_IOCTL_PRIME_* on /dev/dri) requires GPU
hardware not present on this QEMU guest. The verified PoC therefore drives
the SAME production drm.ko code via a KLD rig that resolves the production
symbols at runtime and replays the drm_prime.c:802->814->864 composition
in an unprivileged process context (/dev/df2132, mode 0666). On real
hardware with any PRIME-capable GPU, the render node is the unprivileged
front door and no rig is needed (see finding markdown PoC).
