DF-1141 verification environment (shared across DF-1141/1142/1145/1146/1149)

Guest: DragonFly 6.5-DEVELOPMENT #0: Thu Jul 2 06:02:54 UTC 2026
x86_64, X86_64_GENERIC kernel (INVARIANTS ON by default)
Compiler: cc 8.3 [DragonFly] Release/2019-02-22
Snapshot: vm.sh reset with-src (full /usr/src + warm obj, UNPATCHED audit kernel)
Hardware present (pciconf -l):
vgapci0 class=0x030000 chip=0x11111234 -> QEMU/std VGA (NOT i915/AMD/radeon)
virtio_pci0 (net), virtio_pci1 (blk)
=> NO Intel i915 GPU, NO AMD/radeon GPU, NO WiFi adapter.
Network interfaces: vtnet0 lo0 (no wlan)
Loaded modules at boot: kernel, ehci.ko, xhci.ko (no drm/i915/amdgpu/radeon/iwm)
DRM/WiFi driver build status (sys/config):
X86_64_GENERIC: does NOT include device i915 / radeon / amdgpu / iwm.
Only `device agp` (AGP) is present; WiFi present is
iwn/ral/bwn (NOT iwm).
LINT64: includes device "i915" and device radeon (commented-out
test config, not a bootable default).
Conclusion: none of the five target drivers (amdgpu, radeon, i915, iwm)
can attach or be exercised at runtime on this QEMU/KVM guest. The bugs
are LATENT here. They are real on physical hardware matching each driver
(malicious/reflashed VBIOS for DF-1141/1142/1149, Intel i915 system for
DF-1146, Intel 7260/8000/9000/9260 WiFi + buggy/malicious firmware for
DF-1145).
Module build validation (all built as KMOD from /usr/src, -Werror):
radeon.ko : built clean (incl. ci_dpm.o baseline)
amdgpu.ko : built clean (incl. ci_dpm.o baseline)
i915.ko : built clean (incl. i915_gem.o baseline)
if_iwm.ko : built clean (incl. if_iwm.o baseline)
Each finding's fix.diff was then applied to /usr/src and ONLY the affected
translation unit was rebuilt; all compiled clean under -Werror. See
build.log in each finding folder.
